Contouring Tutorial Step-by-Step

1. Prep Your Skin -

Start with a clean, moisturized face. Apply primer for smooth blending. This helps contour look natural instead of patchy. This makes makeup smooth.

2.  Apply Base Makeup -

Use foundation evenly across your face.
 - Blend well using a sponge or brush
 -  Match your skin tone properly

This gives you an even skin tone.

3. Apply Concealer (Highlighting) -

Use a lighter concealer on :

Under eyes
Center of forehead
Nose bridge
Chin

This step creates contrast for contour and  This will make these areas look bright.

4. Apply Contour (Key Step) - (Dark Shade)

Use a contour shade 2–3 tones darker than your skin.
Apply on :
Cheekbones (from ear toward mouth)
Jawline
Sides of nose
Hairline / forehead
This creates shadow and shape.

5. Blend, Blend, Blend -

This is the most important step.

Use a damp sponge or brush
Blend upward for a lifted look
Avoid harsh lines

 Harsh contour = unnatural look

6. Set with Powder-

Use compact or loose powder to lock everything in place , to set your makeup.
